This thesis focuses on Belenli Mela Hüseyin (1929-2007), a classical Zaza literature writer, and his works. Mela Hüseyin wrote in Zaza, Kurmanji, Turkish, Arabic, and Persian using the Kurdish-Arabic alphabet at various times during his lifetime. He wrote these works with the aim of leaving a legacy for his people.
